Vellarikkai pachadi (Cucumber Raita)


Grated cucumber - 1 cup
Salt - 3/4 teaspoon [Three Fourths of a teaspoon]
Curd - 1 cup [200 ml]


  1. Grate the cucumber
  2. Drain the cucumber water that comes during grating
  3. Add salt to cucumber
  4. Mix this with curd
  5. Optional : Saute 1/2 teaspoon of mustard & ulutham paruppu (urid dhal) in half teaspoon of gingely oil. Mix this with curd
