Ingredients
Raw mango (Bangalore / Kilimookku maangaai) - 2
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
Gingely oil - 1 tablespoon
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Mustard (kadugu) - 1 teaspoon
Preparation
- Cut mango in small pieces
- Add salt
- Add red chilly powder
- Heat gingely oil in a pan
- Add mustard & asafoetida
- Allow mustard to burst
- Mix this with mango pieces
- You can store this in fridge for 4 days
This is an excellent side dish for curd rice

Should we soak the cut mango pieces in salt and after 2 days add the other ingredients as you have mentioned that its added at first mix.
