Ingredients
- Bengal gram (Kadalai paruppu) - 1 cup
- Urid dhal (ulutham paruppu) - 1 cup
- Red chilly - 3 cup
- Sesame seed -25 grams (black or white)
- Asafoetida (perungaayam) - 1/2 teaspoon
- Gingely oil (nallennai)-1 spoon
- Salt - for taste
- Roast sesame seeds separately in a dry pan for 2 minutes
- Roast other ingredients (without salt) separately in a pan with 1 spoon gingely oil
- Mix all the roasted ingredients and salt for taste and grind them in a mixer grinder
Very tasty.everyone in my home loved it. Thanks for ur receipe. Ingeneral 1 cup should be of what proportion in measurement. bccoz, sesame seed is gicen in 25 gms.In taht case 1 cup should be ___gms?? It will be evenmore helpful to make podi in larger qty
